Class Schedules & Lesson Options

Monthly Canter Class: $300/month

Two or more group trainings per week on an ongoing monthly basis (holidays and competition days excluded)

  • Monday: 4pm - 7pm 

  • Friday: 4pm - 7pm

  • Saturday: 10:00am - 1:00pm

 

Monthly Beginning-Intermediate Class: $250/month
One group training per week on an ongoing monthly basis (holidays and competition days excluded) Additional bonus training days to be announced throughout the season.

  • Saturday: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

  • additional days to be announced

Adaptive Class: $50/class
Lessons are scheduled by appointment for either a private or semi-private lesson and may include instruction outside on the horse, or inside our barn on the MOVIE, and/or stationary barrels. Please call or email to schedule a lesson time.

Drop-In Group Lessons: $70/class

Please call or email in advance to let us know when you plan to join us.

Charter School Group Lessons  $250/month

We accept educational funds for some charter schools. One group lesson per week on an ongoing monthly basis during the school year. Please contact us for details.

Special Group Lessons: $250/month

4-H, Pony Club, Girl Scouts, etc. One group lesson per week on an ongoing monthly basis. Please contact us for details.

Free Introductory Vaulting Lesson

Please call us to schedule a free introductory group lesson where you and your family can meet our coaches, ask questions, and experience our fun sport. To ensure the safety of all vaulters, we limit the number of participants in each class.

Release Forms

Please download, fill in, print and sign one SHVC Release Form  (3 pages total) for each child and adult visiting our facility for the first time or participating in an introductory lesson. Please bring your completed forms to your lesson and turn in to the coach before your lesson begins. We also have printed copies in our tack room in case you are unable to print before class.

What to Wear to Class

  • T-shirt and leggings or sweatpants

  • Running/tennis shoes for warm-ups, stretching and getting the horse ready

  • Vaulting shoes for vaulting (water shoes, ballet, tennis, or other soft shoes may be worn to the introductory lesson and first few classes)

  • Hair should be pulled away from the face. Long hair should be in a ponytail or bun.

 

What to Bring to Class

  • 1 signed SHVC and SHRC release form (3 pages total) for each child/adult participating in a class or visiting our facility for the first time.

  • Water bottle

  • Healthy snack

  • Jacket or warm sweatshirt for cooler days

  • Sunscreen
